Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Transaction Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our corporate legal department, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting various real estate acquisition and development activities.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate acquisition transaction coordination in a law firm, title company, or corporate legal department. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications are also essential. In addition, you should have strong drafting, negotiation, and oral communication skills.
The Role
Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation, review, and negotiation of purchase and sale contracts, lease agreements, deeds, development agreements, easements, and other conveyance, use, and development instruments. You will also review and analyze title commitments, exception documents, and surveys; identify and assist in the resolution of title and survey issues; and prepare title objection letters.
In addition, you will coordinate all closing activities, act as a point of contact for opposing parties, title companies, surveyors, and other third-party vendors, review closing documents for accuracy and completeness, ensure timely compilation of closing binders for all acquired and leased sites, and manage relevant contractual deadlines.
You will work closely with our in-house attorneys, real estate project managers, and other business clients to provide support and information pertinent to real estate transactions. Your liaison duties will involve working with the Legal Services department, Real Estate department, internal business clients, and third-party vendors on real estate matters.
This position offers a hybrid schedule option, allowing you to work remotely 2 days per week after the training period is complete. If you prefer to work in-office, you will have the option to work onsite 5 days per week.
Salary Estimate
We offer an estimated salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on your location and experience. This is a full-time position with benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
