This position is a temporary role within the Avera Laboratory, one of the premier laboratories in the country, lasting less than 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Acquire significant experience across various specialties: Phlebotomy, Microbiology, Blood Banking, Hematology, Chemistry, and Serology. If you enjoy interacting with patients, this role involves direct contact with individuals of all ages, including adults, children, and seniors.

Position Overview: Responsible for the efficient and precise execution of routine clinical laboratory tests and essential laboratory functions.
Education and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science is required upon hiring. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician from ASCP or AMT must be obtained within the first year of employment.
Work Schedule:
Varied shifts totaling 80 hours every two weeks, with occasional weekends and holidays. This is a temporary position lasting approximately 6 months.
Hourly Compensation:
The hourly wage for this role is competitive, starting at $41.50, with actual rates determined by experience.
