Job Summary

As a Resort Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance to maintain the physical integrity of our Resorts while providing excellent customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance to ensure the physical integrity of our Resorts
  • Provide excellent customer service to our guests
  • Inspect and maintain resort facilities, including playground areas, pool/spa areas, and recreational amenities
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and construction work
  • Ensure the resort is presentable and inviting at all times
  • Perform lawn care services, including mowing, trimming, and pruning
  • Empty common area trash containers and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Assist with snow removal and other winter maintenance tasks
  • Complete checklists of the physical condition of resort sites prior to and after guest occupancy
  • Assist with the supervision of service contractors
  • Report any maintenance issues or concerns to management
Requirements
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to provide legible written reports
  • Proficient skills in operating various hand tools, power equipment, and commercial machinery
  • General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and broad experience in general maintenance techniques and repair work
  • Ability to respond to resort needs during non-business hours while on-call
  • 6 months previous maintenance experience in a campground or RV resort is preferred
