Position Overview

ARU's expanding Operations team is in search of a seasoned Business Analyst specializing in insurance.

The Business Analyst will serve as the key intermediary between project teams and various business divisions, tasked with gathering, analyzing, communicating, and validating requirements for enhancements to business operations and IT systems. This role will also involve providing technical consultancy for business challenges and opportunities, offering insights into potential technical solutions that align with organizational objectives.

  • Manage issue triage and escalation related to requirements and technical challenges.
  • Master ARU's standardized tools and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Systems from an accredited institution.
  • Over 6 years of experience in a Business Analyst role within the Property and Casualty Insurance sector.
  • Familiarity with business analysis methodologies, process improvement, project management, and industry tools.
  • Experience with Policy Administration software applications.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in modern technology and spreadsheet applications; quick to learn new systems.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and record-keeping skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership of responsibilities and achieving results.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Remote Work Requirements:

  • This position is fully remote, requiring adherence to best practices for remote work, including a professional home office setup with reliable high-speed internet.
  • Candidates may reside anywhere in the United States but must be available to work during Eastern or Central time business hours.
