Role Summary:

The Facilities Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Fleet and Facilities department. This role entails managing facility requests within the organization and liaising with tenants. The supervisor will cultivate tenant relationships, which include collecting rent, addressing service requests, ensuring lease compliance, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the facilities team.
  • Assist in the daily management and oversight of the organization's facilities.
  • Perform various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and electrical maintenance.
  • Monitor and respond to maintenance requests submitted through various channels.
  • Ensure all individuals are greeted and assisted with a professional and caring approach.
  • Act as the primary contact for after-hours emergencies and coordinate responses accordingly.
  • Manage multiple projects effectively and demonstrate strong multitasking abilities.
  • Support predictive and preventative maintenance initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records related to facilities to meet organizational standards.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for communication with facilities staff, management, employees, landlords, and tenants.
  • Work directly with tenants to ensure compliance with lease agreements.
  • Exhibit initiative and collaborate effectively as part of a team to fulfill departmental needs.
  • Provide weekly updates to management regarding workload and any concerns.
  • Assist other departments as needed beyond facilities-related tasks.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in maintenance.
  • Previous supervisory experience is advantageous.

  • Frequent travel to different worksites may be required.
