Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Greenbrae, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to work in an outpatient setting. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for everyday life.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Occupational Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals
  • Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, activities, and education
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Minimum of an associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college
  • Current certification in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current hands-on CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Current medical documentation and testing
  • Current state and contract-required competency tests and credentials
