Marketing Strategist

United Community Bank is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Strategist to play a key role in developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive business growth and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior management to define and implement the bank's overall marketing strategy, including advertising, promotional activities, and external messaging.
  • Work with a third-party design firm to create engaging marketing materials, such as ads, flyers, signage, and other graphic materials, within established brand guidelines.
  • Review and implement sponsorship and donation requests to ensure alignment with marketing efforts and budget.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness across various channels, including the website, print materials, and internal communications.
  • Ensure all marketing content and designs meet regulatory compliance standards through collaboration with internal and external compliance reviewers.
  • Work closely with department managers to identify opportunities to increase product awareness and drive business growth.
  • Direct and oversee internal marketing events, fundraisers, and community programs.
  • Assist with audit and examination preparation related to marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with the CRA Officer and Community Development Manager to ensure the bank's involvement in community organizations and volunteerism.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Valid driver's license.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business, or related field.
  • One to three years of experience in marketing or a related field.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds at a time.
