Summary:

The Marketing Specialist will coordinate and participate in the development of marketing strategies and products for the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

Works with Management to define and implement the bank’s overall marketing strategy. This includes deployment of advertising products and services, promotional activities, and external messaging.

Works with third party design firm on the creation of ads, flyers, signage, social posts, and other graphic needs within the brand guidelines previously established.

Reviews all requests for sponsorships and donations to ensure they fit the banks marketing efforts, budget, etc. Implements all approved sponsorship and donation request.

Create marketing content designed to generate interest and increase brand awareness for the bank’s website, emails, social media, print materials, etc.

Collaborate with internal and external compliance reviewers to ensure all content and designs meet regulatory compliance standards prior to distribution.

Works closely with Department Managers to determine opportunities to increase product awareness.

Shares in proofreading all marketing materials.

Directs and oversees internal marketing events, fundraisers, and Community Cash program.

Assists with audit and examination preparation related to all marketing efforts.

Works with CRA Officer & Community Development Manager to ensure the banks involvement in community organizations and volunteerism.

Any other duties deemed appropriate by management.

Qualifications and Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent sales and customer service skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Valid Louisiana Driver’s License

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business, or related field required.

One to three years of experience

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift 20 pounds at a time.
