Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Blount Fine Foods. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, control systems, and equipment in our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair electrical and control system issues on production equipment and building systems.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and other control systems.
  • Perform planned preventive maintenance on electrical and control systems.
  • Document all downtime repairs and work time in downtime database or CMMS program.
  • Assist in maintaining building facilities, including wastewater plant, refrigeration systems, steam systems, and building environment systems.
  • Assist in installation of new processes, equipment, or infrastructure upgrades.
  • Modify and fabricate parts as needed to maintain equipment performance and safety.
  • Perform all duties following established LOTO and food safety procedures.
  • Assist on plant capital projects as needed.
  • Contribute to plant-wide initiatives as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position with advanced technical skills in the mechanical/electrical fields in a manufacturing environment.
  • High School/GED and technical school education preferred.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Electrical licenses, WW treatment licenses, boiler certificates, mechanical certificates.
