Job Summary

Dana Incorporated is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Warren, Michigan facility. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement functions on plant equipment and machinery with limited direction and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment with minimal supervision using safe electrical techniques, schematics, and diagnostic instruments.
  • Operate in response to requests by maintenance supervisor or support personnel, and set priorities as required to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Gather and maintain a complete set of required tools, including electrical meters and diagnostic devices.
  • Participate in preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve operational uptime and equipment life.
  • Follow designated work instructions as outlined for specific functions.
Requirements
  • Educational background: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Electrical journeyman's card or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to pass an Electrician aptitude test.
  • Knowledge of industrial, mechanical, and electrical codes, techniques, and standards.
  • Strong background in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic arms, and overall machine troubleshooting skills.
  • Skilled understanding and experience with electrical schematics and ladder diagrams.
