We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our transportation projects in the Richmond office. Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage and oversee assigned projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and client satisfaction.
  • Business Development: Participate in business development activities, including meeting with clients and potential teaming partners, to secure new projects and expand our market presence.
  • Proposal Preparation: Prepare and coordinate proposal efforts to secure work, leveraging your expertise in research, reports, design, specification, and plan preparation.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary client liaison, bringing the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the client's satisfaction.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and enhance key client relationships, serving as one of the primary company contacts.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Design and Engineering required; Master's degree a plus.
  • Experience: 15+ years of progressive Project Manager experience, with a proven background in management leadership on bridge and highway projects.
  • Certifications: PE (Professional Engineer) certification required.
  • Industry Experience: Experience on VDOT and Local Transportation Projects, with established relationships within the industry.
  • Business Development Skills: Strong business development skills, with the ability to put together winning proposals and deliver presentations for new work.
  • Communication Skills: Articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups, with strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal relationships skills.
