We are seeking a BC/BE physician to work with a growing inpatient service at a vibrant 500-bed safety-net community hospital in Everett, Washington, about 30 miles north of Seattle.

The team is composed of 80+ providers. The hospital has a robust multidisciplinary staff that supports all inpatient work, including subspecialists, pharmacists, social workers, respiratory and physical therapists, palliative care, etc.

We are seeking physicians primarily interested in swing shifts, with a focus on admissions as their main responsibility. There may also be opportunities for day shifts, with an average daily census of 14-15 patients per shift.

The Everett community is socio-economically diverse, and the successful applicant would have a lively curiosity about people from different backgrounds and desire to understand patients and their families' communities.

The Medical Hospitalist Team is very well-supported with strong relationships with its ICU, ER, subspecialists, and palliative care colleagues.

This community hospital has deep ties to both the University of Washington with a long tradition of teaching medical students as well as the Washington State University, now serving as a principal training site for both the internal medicine residency program and third-year Medicine clerks.

Unrestricted WA State Medical License or ability to obtain prior to hire

Current WA DEA certificate or ability to obtain prior to hire

Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine

EMR proficient

Proven positive attitude and solid work ethic

Proven self-starter with ability to practice with a high degree of independence

Proven solid verbal and written communication skills
