Growing together.Moonlighting Hospitalist Seeking a BC/BE physician to work with a growing inpatient service at a vibrant 500-bed safety-net community hospital in Everett, Washington, about 30 miles north of Seattle. The team is composed of 80+ providers. The hospital has a robust multidisciplinary staff that supports all inpatient work, including subspecialists, pharmacists, social workers, respiratory and physical therapists, palliative care, etc. The average daily census ranges between 14-18 patients per shift. The most desirable candidate would have a strong medicine background (internal medicine).The Everett community is socio-economically diverse, and the successful applicant would have a lively curiosity about people from different backgrounds and desire to understand patients and their families' communities.The Medical Hospitalist Team is very well-supported with strong relationships with its ICU, ER, subspecialists and hospice colleagues.This community hospital has deep ties to both the University of Washington with a long tradition of teaching medical students as well as the Washington State University, now serving as a principal training site for both the internal medicine residency program and third-year Medicine clerks.Our providers enjoy a balanced lifestyle that allows them to explore the natural beauty here, travel abroad, spend time with family, and also practice excellent evidence-based medicine with fascinating patients in a supportive environment.With Optum Washington you will experience: Coordinated Care - across multiple disciplines Flexible Shifts Excellent communication with Providers Epic EMR Variable and exciting patient care mix Patient Focused Environment Integrated Practice Unit - Collaborative care model working to facilitate disease management Above Market Compensation You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: Unrestricted WA State Medical License Current WA DEA certificate Board Certified Internal Medicine EMR proficient Proven positive attitude and solid work ethic Proven self-starter with ability to practice with a high degree of independence Proven solid verbal and written communication skills Ability to work both shifts on a full-time basis Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of experience Managed Care and Medi-Cal experience Washington Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $165.00 to $200.00 per hour. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement.
