Job Description

The Emory Orthopedic PA and Acute Care NP Post Graduate Fellowship Program is a one-year program designed to provide advanced practice providers with specialized knowledge and skills in orthopedics.

Program Overview

The program is structured to provide fellows with a comprehensive education in the multidisciplinary management of complex patients in orthopedics. The curriculum covers the entire spectrum of the specialty area, including joints, upper extremity, lower extremity, orthopedic oncology, and spine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop specialized knowledge and skills in orthopedics through rotations and hands-on experience.
  • Cultivate expertise in the care of orthopedic patients with complex conditions.
  • Participate in a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited PA or Acute Care NP Master's program.
  • National board certification as a PA or Acute Care NP.
  • Eligibility for licensure as a PA or NP in Georgia.
  • Eligibility for DEA license.
  • American Heart Association BLS, and Healthcare Provider certifications required.
