Job Description

As a Diesel Technician – Class B at Performance Foodservice, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe operation of our fleet by repairing, maintaining, and overhauling all company diesel equipment. Your primary responsibilities will include performing preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, refrigeration units, and convertor dollies under minimal supervision.

You will also be responsible for completing thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through our online Enterprise Asset Management system.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex problems with vehicles
  • Familiarity with computerized diagnostics and electronic component repair
  • Experience with tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, and refrigeration systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
