Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality occupational health services, ensuring the health and safety of our employees while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive occupational health services, including health assessments, injury management, and preventive care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct employee health screenings, immunizations, and surveillance programs to monitor and enhance workforce health.
• Offer health education and counseling to employees on topics such as workplace safety, ergonomics, and overall wellness.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee health records in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Participate in the development and implementation of occupational health policies and procedures.
• Work closely with external healthcare providers and specialists to coordinate care for employees with occupational injuries or illnesses.
• Support quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of occupational health services.
Qualifications:
• Current RN license in the state of New Mexico.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in an occupational health setting.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards, workers compensation laws, and occupational health best practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
