Job Summary:

We are seeking a part-time Occupational Medical Physician to join our team at Protouch Staffing. As a key member of our occupational health team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our employees and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational medicine, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively with our occupational health team.

This is a part-time position, with a flexible schedule that allows for a great work-life balance.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of occupational illnesses and injuries.
  • Develop and implement occupational health programs, including pre-employment screenings, periodic health evaluations, and surveillance for work-related health risks.
  • Advise on rehabilitation and return-to-work programs for employees recovering from work-related injuries or illnesses.
  • Collaborate with occupational health nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and safety officers to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Participate in the development and enforcement of health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in occupational medicine and integrate best practices into patient care and workplace health programs.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Valid state medical license and board certification in Occupational Medicine or a related specialty.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in occupational health or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of occupational health regulations, including OSHA standards and workers' compensation.
