Job Summary

WSB LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Survey Crew Lead to oversee day-to-day operations for a variety of public and private projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage survey crew activities and operations
  • Interpret and analyze construction plans and specifications
  • Set up and calibrate survey equipment, including GPS and Total Stations
  • Utilize and maintain field tools and equipment
  • Operate survey equipment, including GPS and Total Stations
  • Manage and process survey data, ensuring accuracy and quality

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in construction and boundary surveys
  • Ability to multitask and collaborate with project stakeholders, including engineers, architects, and contractors
  • Proficiency in Trimble/Leica GPS and Total Stations, as well as other survey equipment
  • Adaptability to various weather conditions and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Clean driving record and ability to travel for work

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in civil engineering technology or land surveying
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation/Geopak
  • Previous experience as a crew chief or team leader
  • Construction staking expertise and ability to work with construction teams
