Job Description

About the Role

We're looking for a Fire Protection Engineer with five or more years of working experience, who is passionate about their craft, wants to work on a high-functioning team, and looking for an environment that promotes professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide our clients with automatic suppression system design, fire detection, alarm and mass notification system design, life-safety code analysis, egress analysis, fire resistant construction analysis, smoke control analysis and special inspection as well as general fire protection and life safety concepts and research.
  • Design and specify basic systems without continuous oversight.
  • Assist in managing CAD and production efforts.
  • Perform consulting services for internal clients, utilizing Fire Protection Engineering technical skills.
  • Work independently and supervise the efforts of a small team.
  • Manage and participate in multiple projects simultaneously and profitably.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Requirements

  • BS degree in engineering or related science from accredited college or university.
  • EIT Required.
  • PE Preferred.
  • Minimum five years working experience in Fire Protection Engineering (consulting).
  • General building construction knowledge.
  • Experience working with AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

What We Offer

  • Approximate Base Salary – $90,000.00 to $125,000.00 based on experience.
  • Paid times hourly rate.
  • Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance.
  • Hybrid Work Schedule (subject to change).
  • 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching for 9% Employee Contribution.
