Interventional Radiology Technologist Specialist

As an Interventional Radiology Technologist Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting proceduralists during intricate diagnostic and interventional vascular and body-interventional procedures. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of these complex cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including radiologists and vascular surgeons.
- Manage groin access post-intervention with precision.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed Radiology Technologist is required.
- In-depth knowledge of fluoroscopic modality machines, both floor and ceiling mounted.
- Proficient in identifying, retrieving, and circulating intricate products during interventional procedures.
- Ability to think critically and assist proceduralists during complex cases.
- Skilled in operating power injection devices for iodinated contrast media during both diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records documentation and image transmission to the Sectra system.
- Strong communication skills, utilizing closed-loop communication effectively.
- Maintain sterile techniques and uphold infection prevention measures while preparing procedural trays.
- Demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate information to patients in a professional and effective manner.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
