Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct laboratory experiments under general supervision, focusing on the purification, isolation, and analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), intermediates, and natural extracts.
  • Perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment and utilize techniques such as HPLC, UHPLC, and GC.
  • Prepare and deliver scientific and technical presentations, updates, and reports.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Process Development Scientist and Project Coordinator to develop proposals.
  • Provide support to business development and engineering teams as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Proficient in analytical and preparative chromatography techniques.
  • Experience with HPLC/UHPLC instruments and related software, including Empower, Waters, and Agilent.
  • Familiarity with R&D and manufacturing practices, including regulations concerning PPEs and the handling of solvents and chemicals.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods while performing laboratory tasks.

Compensation:

  • Salary: $65,000; this is a full-time, permanent position.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off.
