Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various carpentry techniques and a strong understanding of building materials, tools, and safety practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.

• Construction and Installation: Build and install frameworks, structures, and fixtures, including doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, and building plans to meet project specifications.
• Repairs and Maintenance: Perform repairs on existing structures, ensuring all work is compliant with local building codes and regulations.
• Material Selection: Select and source appropriate materials based on project requirements and budget constraints.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other construction professionals, including electricians and plumbers, to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and practices to maintain a safe work environment.
• Tool Management: Maintain and care for tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
• Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during the construction process.

• Proven experience as a carpenter or in a related field.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
