Nursing Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Holliswood Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality nursing care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Director of Nursing in managing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of quality care to residents.
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and hazards.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Conduct regular wound/skin rounds to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Review and manage risk-related events and SNF metrics reporting.
- Assist in emergency situations and support risk-related events.
- Analyze patient safety incidents and medical errors to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with Legal/Risk Management on investigations and claims.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records.
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and orienting new nursing staff.
- Oversee daily staffing process and infection control measures.
- Current State RN license required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care settings.
- 2 years of management experience preferred.
- 1 year of staff education experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision.
- Flexible hours required.
