We are currently seeking an experienced Cryptocurrency Risk Management Analyst to become a vital member of our Second Line Risk Management team. This position is ideal for candidates with expertise in blockchain forensics and IT data analysis. The Analyst will play a pivotal role in assisting our Investigators in protecting the organization from both internal and external fraud risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze blockchain transactions.
- Trace and document the flow of funds across various blockchain addresses and entities.
- Conduct forensic investigations to uncover the origins and pathways of blockchain transactions.
- Identify patterns and clusters within transaction data.
- Perform in-depth analysis of IT data and system logs for forensic purposes.
- Develop systematic methods for collecting, processing, and interpreting data from diverse IT systems.
- Understand and monitor the use of money laundering techniques, including mixers, tumblers, privacy coins, and more.
- Group related transactions to establish connections between entities.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, charts, and findings to support ongoing investigations.
- Compile detailed analytics reports that present blockchain transaction insights, including visualizations and actionable findings.
- Create and customize dashboards for real-time monitoring and reporting of blockchain transaction data.
- Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and techniques in blockchain analysis.
- Experience in blockchain analysis, cryptocurrency investigations, or related fields.
- Proficiency in blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic, etc.
- Strong understanding of various cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies.
- Proven experience in analyzing IT data and system logs, with a solid grasp of data processing techniques.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and software.
- Knowledge of money laundering techniques and tools.
