Saas Architect & IT Security Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Director of IT & Security to lead and oversee our IT infrastructure, drive policy development, and execute IT and security protocols that protect our organization's assets and data. This role will be responsible for managing technical operations, ensuring robust system integrations, and establishing comprehensive policies that support security, compliance, and operational excellence across all departments.

  • Develop and execute the organization's comprehensive IT strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals to enhance scalability, performance, and security posture.
  • Oversee all systems administration across the United States and the United Kingdom, managing new technology deployment, integration, and provisioning with a strong emphasis on enabling employees while meeting security best practices and mitigating risk.
  • Implement and enforce robust cybersecurity protocols to safeguard IT assets, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and data protection laws, including GDPR.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in IT management, infrastructure design, cybersecurity, and technical leadership. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential to collaborate with cross-functional teams and align IT operations with business goals.

Requirements and Qualifications

This is a senior-level position, requiring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT management, infrastructure design, or related fields, with a proven track record of successfully scaling IT systems in rapidly growing organizations, particularly with a focus on security.
  • Extensive experience overseeing complex IT infrastructure, including cloud services, networking, and cybersecurity, with specific knowledge of data protection regulations such as GDPR and hands-on experience managing SOC 2 compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead IT teams, manage large-scale projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated security measures.

We offer competitive compensation packages based on individual qualifications and relevant work experience: $140,000-$180,000 per year, depending on your background and how you contribute to the company's growth and success.
