Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to Veterans, addressing both acute and chronic health issues.
- Engage in preventive care practices, including age-appropriate screenings and health counseling.
- Coordinate care with specialty providers to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Maintain a panel of patients, utilizing software to manage patient loads effectively.
- Participate in departmental policies and training, ensuring compliance with all medical staff bylaws.
Work Schedule
Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required; non-citizens may only be appointed when qualified citizens are not available.
- A degree in medicine or osteopathic medicine from an accredited institution is necessary.
- A current, unrestricted medical license is mandatory.
- Completion of residency training in an accredited program is required.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
