Position Overview:

As a Civil Engineering Specialist, you possess a deep understanding of intricate systems that are vital for the operation of advanced military testing facilities. Your expertise is crucial in ensuring that these facilities are modernized in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, while also supporting the development of cutting-edge military technology.

Your engineering acumen will play a pivotal role in transforming Department of Defense (DoD) weapons testing environments. Our team is dedicated to enhancing facilities, energy systems, and infrastructure to meet the evolving demands of weapons testing. We seek a civil engineer adept at delivering comprehensive facility design services and evaluating designs for compliance with industry standards and energetic manufacturing processes, enabling our clients to achieve state-of-the-art facilities through effective construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your 5+ years of design experience in a professional setting to contribute to facility projects.
  • Review facility designs to ensure adherence to regulatory processes and facilitate their progression through construction.
  • Apply your knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC), Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), NFPA, ANSI, ASCE, and civil and environmental systems industry standards.
  • Maintain the ability to obtain a Secret clearance as required.
  • Leverage your Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics to support project objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MEP construction drawing sets.
  • Familiarity with civil and environmental compliance in energetic manufacturing settings, including facility design services.
  • Possession of a Master's degree in Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering Certification.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.

Salary at Booz Allen is influenced by various factors, including location, education, skills, competencies, experience, and organizational requirements. The anticipated compensation range for this role is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 annually. This range reflects the typical salary for this position and is part of Booz Allen's overall compensation package.

Work Environment:

Our culture prioritizes flexibility and collaboration, whether in-person or remote. If this position is designated as remote or hybrid, you will occasionally work from a Booz Allen or client site. For onsite roles, in-person collaboration with colleagues and clients will be necessary.
