Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial CAD Specialist to join our team at Spotlock. This role is an integral part of our survey and engineering teams, responsible for creating detailed 3D models using Trimble Business Center and other CAD software. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with project managers, field crews, and interns to ensure deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, excellent analytical skills, and a willingness to grow within the team. Key responsibilities include model creation, survey drafting, data management, team collaboration, and quality control. If you have proficiency in Trimble Business Center or similar CAD platforms, familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or related drafting software, and a degree or coursework in surveying, civil engineering, industrial design, or a related field, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed 3D models for machine control and project designs.
  • Prepare as-built drawings and other deliverables to meet project requirements.
  • Process, organize, and validate field survey data to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
  • Work closely with project managers, field crews, and interns to ensure deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards.
  • Review and verify designs and survey data for accuracy and constructability.

Requirements
  • Proficiency in Trimble Business Center or similar CAD platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or related drafting software is a plus.
  • Education: Degree or coursework in surveying, civil engineering, industrial design, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Salary and Benefits
$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
