This role requires strong communication skills to develop cooperative bonds with physician offices and ensure seamless coordination between doctors, staff, and departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date master schedules for hospital operations.
  2. Schedule surgeries and procedures efficiently, maximizing hospital resources and staff utilization.
  3. Coordinate with anesthesia, lab, and business office staff to ensure smooth patient care.
  4. Verify insurance coverage and gather detailed patient information for chart compilation.
  5. Communicate with OR Manager, PACU Nurse, and Administrator to determine surgery status and provide daily case counts.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous medical experience with medical terminology essential.
  • BLS certification preferred.
