Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Invasive Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Maine Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in our state-of-the-art catheterization laboratories.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions.
- Operate and maintain hemodynamic monitoring equipment, including pressure monitoring systems and cardiac output devices.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and hemodynamic data during procedures.
- Manage the image during procedures, including fluoroscopy and angiography.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of a school of Cardiovascular Technology or a school of Radiologic Technology, or an advanced, comprehensive program of cardiovascular specialization.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Cardiovascular Technology.
- Current Maine license to practice as a technologist.
- Strong computer skills, especially Windows.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
