Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visits to current and prospective suppliers' facilities to qualify them as viable sources.
  • Drive supplier development initiatives.
  • Contribute to projects and ongoing improvement efforts.
  • Recruit and train staff while overseeing their professional development.
  • Implement cost-saving strategies to achieve annual financial targets.
  • Formulate operational strategies, plans, or procedures.
  • Complete special projects, assignments, and additional responsibilities as required.

Supervisory Role:

This position includes direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

This role is situated in a professional office setting. The position regularly utilizes standard office equipment and also operates within manufacturing facilities, adhering to safety protocols.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related business field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.

  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with strategic sourcing methodologies and practices.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Strong project management and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, costs, and terms.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to work independently under pressure and adapt to changing production or customer needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to make logical, responsible, and timely decisions.
