Job Summary

The Cashier II is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate processing of merchandise transactions. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a register/POS system with accuracy and efficiency
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions, maintaining a balanced cash drawer
  • Assist customers with their needs, providing a positive shopping experience
  • Count, organize, and balance cash, filling out cashier slips and making deposits
  • Adhere to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures
  • Understand and be knowledgeable of merchandise for sale to assist customers and process transactions accurately
  • Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned, maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
  • Ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels throughout service and replenish items as needed
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred
  • Basic math and counting skills required
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 25lb
  • Must follow required dress code as assigned
  • Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
