Cultivation Associate/Grower

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cultivation Associate/Grower to join our team at Ascend Cannabis Co. in Pueblo, CO.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the quality of all manufactured products by adhering to company best practices and industry standards.
  • Responsible for harvesting plants in preparation for processing, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Properly grind plant matter for disposal, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Develop and adhere to standard operating procedures and quality standards to ensure crop success, meeting food safety and quality standards.
  • Ensure that the facility is operating efficiently and producing product that meets industry requirements.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required, with current knowledge of Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) regulations and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
  • At least 1 year cultivation experience preferred, with ability to acquire MED badge prior to beginning employment.
  • Must be able to work in hot and humid conditions, stand, walk, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for extended periods, and individually move objects up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, MED regulations, and CDPHE requirements.
  • Previous marijuana industry experience preferred, particularly in CO licensed facilities.
  • High-level critical thinking, attention to detail, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills.

Compensation:
