Salary:$62,789 - $106,720 per annum
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Insulator Worker (Engineering Equipment Operator) to perform routine tasks and assist journey-level incumbents with assignments. The incumbent operates engineering equipment less than 10% of the work time and performs hazardous material removal and disposal, complying with OSHA and EPA safety and reporting requirements.
Main Responsibilities
Installing insulation materials on pipes, tanks, boilers, ducts, and other structures using prefabricated insulating blocks, pads, sheets, or molded forms.Removing, repairing, enclosing, and encapsulating asbestos insulation and other asbestos building products while adhering to strict safety protocols.Complying with OSHA and EPA safety and reporting requirements, as well as NIOSH, NESH, and AHERA regulatory requirements.Hazardous material removal and disposal, including handling and removing friable and non-friable asbestos.Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A U.S. citizenship
- The ability to pass a drug test
- A strong background in hazardous materials removal and disposal
- Excellent knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
