About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as an Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. This is a tenure-track faculty position that requires a PhD and a proven track record of scholarship in diversity, equity, and inclusion issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the School and the larger Penn community.
  • Lead interdisciplinary teams to advance DEI initiatives and collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to create a more inclusive environment.
  • Provide administrative leadership and management for the Office of DEI, including budgeting, planning, and evaluation.
  • Conduct research and scholarship in precision science, implementation science, and data science or a related area, with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion issues.
Qualifications
  • PhD in a relevant field.
  • Postdoctoral training or academic experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, administrative responsibility, and collaborative and innovative management experience.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and community partners.
