Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at Sutter Coast Hospital. As an OB-GYN Care Provider, you will be responsible for conducting examinations and tests, diagnosing and treating reproductive disorders, providing prenatal care, assisting in childbirth, performing surgeries, educating patients about reproductive health, and staying updated with medical practices.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop individual plans of care for patients assigned to the unit, complete initial nursing histories, and assess patients` conditions.
  • Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, consult with other specialists, and adjust nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Perform fetal heart monitoring and make assessment of labor progress.
  • Manage other medical staff involved in a patient`s care, create tailored treatment plans, and master all medical instruments needed for treatment.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to provide accurate, effective care, even under pressure.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • RN license in good standing.
  • One year of experience in OB/GYN in a facility or medical office.
  • Graduate of accredited Nursing School.
  • Current AHA BLS.
  • Fetal Monitoring Certification, NRP required.
