Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgical team in preparing patients for surgery, including positioning, draping, and preparing equipment.
  • Maintain aseptic technique and ensure a safe and clean environment during surgical procedures.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective surgical procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a Surgical Technologist training program including clinical experience.
  • 6-12 months of prior experience as a Surgical Technician.
  • Certified by The Association of Surgical Technologists, The National Board of Surgical Technology, or The Surgical Assisting Liaison Council Certificate of Surgical Technology highly preferred.
