Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist PRN to join our team at AdventHealth Winter Garden. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners. Your expertise will help us provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the advancement of medical imaging technology.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary to ensure high-quality images.
  • Screen patients for any contrast allergies and properly educate them concerning the exam.
  • Complete all exams in a timely manner, keeping workflow moving and minimizing empty table time.
  • Operate all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, monitors, and medical equipment.
  • Review all images of all exams, repeating images as necessary for best possible results.
  • Notify physicians of emergent findings according to established protocol.
Requirements
  • Completion of radiologic technology training and A.R.R.T. registration.
  • Computed Tomography A.R.R.T. (CT) certification if required by facility.
  • General radiographer state license as required by state if required by facility.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Associate's degree or Technical degree in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years hospital-based clinical Radiology experience.
