Cleveland Clinic's East of I-77 Homecare Rehab Team is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. With a strong focus on patient-centered care, we are committed to providing the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physical Therapist Assistant to administer Physical Therapy services for patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. As a member of our team, you will work alongside passionate and dedicated caregivers, receive endless support and appreciation, and build a rewarding career.

Responsibilities
  • Administer patient-centered Physical Therapy treatment incorporating evidence-based practice and skilled techniques to achieve optimal functional outcomes under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Observe, communicate, and document patient progress and response to treatment.
  • Plan, organize, and implement individualized therapeutic programs with patient/family, incorporating evidence-based practice.
  • Provide education on Physical Therapy-related subjects to patients, clients, caregivers, hospital personnel, and the community.
  • Act as a clinical instructor or participate in the education and evaluation of students.
  • Act as a resource for volunteers and observers.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or certificate required.
  • Must be a graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Current State licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • For Homecare only: Valid Ohio Driver's license upon hire; per policy 8-175 thereafter.
  • For Homecare only: Proof of automobile insurance coverage with $100,000/$300,000 coverage, upon hire; per policy 8-175 thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the clinical area preferred.
  • Experience working in a homecare environment preferred.
Estimated Salary

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
