- Academic rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities of the Hospitalist OB/GYN
- Manage low and high-risk obstetric cases from prenatal care through delivery, including co-management, consultation, and referrals to maternal-fetal medicine specialists as necessary.
- Provide gynecological surgical services, including inpatient procedures.
- Gain access to premier OB/GYN education and research specialists.
- Hospitalist duties will include night and weekend coverage alongside another OB/GYN faculty member and a team of four residents, supported by a robust backup system of maternal-fetal medicine specialists and gynecologists. Shifts of 14 and 24 hours are available.
Candidate Qualifications
- M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree.
- Completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency program in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Board certified/eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Must be eligible for a New York medical license or currently hold a license in New York State.
- Board certification with a minimum of 3-5 years of post-residency experience is preferred.

Individual salaries will be determined within the established salary range based on market data, experience, and expertise, as well as consideration of related position salaries. Compensation may also include clinical incentive-based components, which will be discussed during the hiring process.
