Academic Obstetrician-Gynecologist Opportunity

The University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking a full-time academic general obstetrician-gynecologist with interests in Obstetric Hospitalist care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide low and high-risk obstetric care, including prenatal care through delivery, with co-management, consultation, and referral to UR MFM as needed.
  • Offer gynecologic surgical services, including inpatient surgeries.
  • Collaborate with world-class OB/GYN, education, and research specialists.
  • Work alongside another OB/Gyn Faculty member and a 4-member resident team, with a robust backup system of MFM specialists and Gynecologists.
Qualifications
  • M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree.
  • Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency program in obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Board certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Eligibility to obtain a New York medical license or already be licensed in New York State.
  • Board certification with a minimum of 3-5 years post-residency experience preferred.
