Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Line Specialist to join our team at Peak Workforce Solutions in Manning, SC. As an essential member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating production line machinery and computers, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining high-quality standards.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive hourly rate of $15.50. The schedule includes 1st shift (Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and 2nd shift (Monday to Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.).

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate production line machinery and computers efficiently and safely.
  • Troubleshoot production line machinery to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform change-overs and adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
  • Responsible for quality control, rejecting products outside of specifications, and making adjustments as required.
  • Operate within standard operating procedures and perform basic preventative maintenance on production line machinery.
  • Communicate effectively with Operators and Supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Clean and maintain the work area, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
  • Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use, following established protocols.
  • Accurately complete process documents and daily production reports as necessary.
  • Provide on-the-job training to new employees and back-up for others as required.
  • Order raw materials and supplies as needed.
  • Promote teamwork and build a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required, acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work overtime as needed and report to every work day, on time and for the entire shift.
  • Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethics.
