Job Summary

As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students of all ages and skill levels how to swim and stay safe in and around the water. You will work closely with our Deck Supervisors to ensure a fun and engaging learning environment for our students.

Responsibilities
  • Teach swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents
  • Evaluate student progress and complete required paperwork
  • Interact with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and answer questions
  • Act as a representative of Goldfish Swim School - Clifton Park to ensure parental satisfaction
  • Use problem-solving and creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges that students encounter
  • Inspect pool areas before and after each class for maintenance, cleanliness, or damage issues
  • Maintain and ensure proper storage of all pool equipment
  • Report accidents and incidents to management and complete required documentation
  • Perform light cleaning duties as needed
  • Attend required workshops and in-service training
