Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer specializing in Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) to lead our Infrastructure - Transportation/Construction Inspection Team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of large-scale construction projects.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee construction inspection activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate with project designers and manage project documentation and records.
  • Lead project meetings and review contractor pay quantities for accuracy.
  • Supervise field staff involved in construction inspection.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in construction inspection is required.
  • Valid Driver's License is necessary.
  • Experience with FDOT projects is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to interpret client contracts and understand industry standards.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the construction industry.
  • Capability to navigate construction sites effectively.
