Sanitation Specialist

Job Summary

As a Sanitation Specialist at Career Concepts, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards within our food factory. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will ensure that our production facility meets regulatory requirements and follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment, production areas, and facilities to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.
• Follow strict protocols to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Inspect equipment for cleanliness and functionality before and after cleaning.
• Identify and report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment for repairs or maintenance.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules to ensure proper functioning of sanitation equipment and tools.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in sanitation or cleaning, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, GMPs, and sanitation principles.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, sanitizers, and disinfectants used in a food production environment.
• Attention to detail and a high level of cleanliness.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Knowledge of basic safety practices and the ability to identify and address potential hazards.

• Full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $17-$19.
• 2nd and 3rd shift availability.
