About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team at MyCareersFuture. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Housekeeping department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend to the control desk telephone and communicate with Housekeeping and other departments as needed.
  • Provide clerical services, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
  • Maintain and update administrative data, including purchase orders, inventory, and rosters.
  • Enter room status into the computer daily and investigate discrepancies.
  • Receive and forward information, and transmit FCS requests via SARA and VServe.
  • Communicate information to Housekeeping employees and arrange training as needed.
  • Demonstrate awareness of Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities (OH&S) policies and procedures.
  • Support the hotel's corporate responsibility initiatives in areas such as community involvement, environment management, and workplace health & safety.
Requirements
  • 1 year experience in administration and coordination.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
