Position Summary:
The Electrical Assembler role is integral to our operations, reporting directly to the Electrical Lead. Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of electrical systems, including familiarity with hand tools, forklifts, electrical schematics, and multimeters. A basic grasp of electrical principles is essential, along with the ability to multitask, adhere to specific instructions, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Team collaboration and a proactive attitude are crucial, as is the capacity to learn and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Proficiency in AutoCAD is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to detailed instructions and specifications.
- Interpret and extract necessary components from schematics.
- Fabricate, drill, and assemble components for electrical panels as per schematics.
- Wire panels using the appropriate gauge in accordance with design specifications.
- Conduct operational tests to verify functionality.
- Assemble and prepare panels, motors, and pumps for installation.
- Prewire, connect conduits, and program GEM systems.
- Perform quality assurance checks on panels.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Foster positive working relationships across departments.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Comply with company standards and procedures.
- Keep accurate inventory records of all parts utilized.
- Assist team members across various departments as required.
