Job Title: EdTech Sales Specialist

Join Solution Tree, a leading provider of professional development solutions for K-12 educators, as a Sales Specialist for our EdTech products. In this role, you will work with a collaborative team to sell our proven educational products to schools and districts across the West Region of the USA.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Specialist to join our team. As an EdTech Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales plan that meets or exceeds revenue goals established around our technology offerings. You will work closely with our sales team to identify and pursue new sales opportunities, build relationships with key decision-makers, and negotiate deals to close.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales plan that meets or exceeds revenue goals
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers
  • Negotiate deals to close
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maximize selling opportunities and customer experience
  • Research and understand the EdTech competitive landscape to inform sales strategy
  • Develop and nurture customer relationships
  • Set and run custom demos and meetings with key decision-makers
  • Manage expenses and demonstrate fiscal responsibility
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience selling SaaS/EdTech products and solutions to K-12 schools
  • Successful record of hunting/prospecting net new opportunities and building a process to build, qualify, and close/form new partnership clients
  • Proven experience working with internal teams to maximize selling opportunities and customer experience
  • High-energy; thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment
  • Ability to learn and explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical staff at school districts
  • Technologically proficient with Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
