Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise and Solution Design: Develop and articulate comprehensive security architectures using Cisco and Palo Alto technologies.

  • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and pre-sales team members.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to align on security solution strategies.
  • Security Service Offerings: Participate in the development of new security service offerings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in network security and solution architecture, with a focus on Cisco and Palo Alto technologies.
  • Product Experience: Experience in selling and working with Extended Detection and Response (XDR), Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) products.
  • Security Protocols and Technologies: In-depth knowledge of security protocols and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security.
  • Cisco and Palo Alto Experience: Hands-on experience with Cisco security products (e.g., ASA, Firepower, ISE) and Palo Alto firewalls (e.g., PAN-OS, Prisma Access).
  • Network Design and Architecture: Proficiency in network design and architecture, including LAN/WAN, Software-Defined Networking (SDN), and cloud security.
  • SIEM Experience: SIEM experience is required.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Certifications

Relevant certifications such as PCNSE, CISSP, or AWS/Azure security certifications are a plus.
