Position Summary: The Cash Vault Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily vault activities within the branch. This role involves coaching and guiding vault personnel, ensuring adherence to company policies, and maintaining high standards of accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise vault staff to guarantee proper handling of cash and compliance with established protocols.
  • Oversee all vault operations, ensuring meticulous accountability for all cash transactions.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of all vault documentation, including manifests and withdrawal records.
  • Manage the opening and closing of the vault, ensuring accurate balancing of cash in line with company standards.
  • Ensure timely departures of all shuttle services from the branch.
  • Propose enhancements to improve security and operational efficiency within the vault.
  • Report any violations of company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance when interacting with staff and clients.
  • Travel to other locations for temporary assignments as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Provide daily coaching, mentoring, and oversight of vault personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in logistics or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with vault operations, including cash handling procedures.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licensing for armed positions.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; may require a Commercial Driver's License.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with team members and clients.
  • Knowledge of federal motor carrier safety regulations is a plus.
